DDGS(Dried Distillers Grains with Solubles)

Description

Production Process:

1. Grinding: Grains are milled into a fine powder.

2. Slurry Preparation & Cooking: Powder is mixed with water and cooked to break down starch.

3. Fermentation: Enzymes convert starch into sugars, and yeast ferments it into ethanol and CO₂.

4. Distillation: Ethanol is separated from the mix, leaving a nutrient-rich residue.

5. Stillage Separation: Solids (WDG) and liquid (thin stillage) are separated.

6. Concentration: Thin stillage is concentrated into syrup (CDS).

7. Drying: CDS is blended with WDG and dried to produce DDGS, typically at 10–12% moisture.

Nutritional Value:
